| Does anyone know of a good supplier for the horseshoe shaped peony supports? The only one I can find on-line is brooks-design, but I don't know anything about them and I can't find them on gardenwatchdog.com.
Thanks in advance - Beth |

| you can do basically the same thing with tomato cages. just clip out the third leg. |
|
| Thanks Cody, I will try that. |
|
| I really like these supports. They are adjustable and almost unnoticable. |

| Thanks Alina, have you used them on large bunches of peonies? I have 6-8 very large well established bunches that I need to find a better staking method for. The circular stakes I used in the past look too unnatural on them as they squeeze them together - like a belt. TIA - Beth |

| They have larger size of this kind of support. I did not use them for the Peonies, because my Peonies are 2 years old and still small, but I successfully used them on huge Dahlias (dinner plate type). I am going to buy them for the Peonies that need support also, I am sure this will work just fine. |

| I strongly suggest you get the grow-thru grid supports for your peonies. I have tried tomato cages, hoops of various types, and pretty much anything else you can think might work. Only the grids really worked well at all; and there is still some damage since the rains always seem to know when there are peonies in full bloom.....The y-stakes are wonderful for lilies and many smaller plants, but simply can't hold the weight of a mature peony. You'd need about 10 of them per plant. I'll give you a link that shows 2 kinds, I don't know if these are good prices. I've seen them at Home Depot and Lowes and various garden centers too. |
Here is a link that might be useful: plant supports

| Please let me know if these work! I have been double hooping my peonies for a few years. This year the blooms were so huge that they fell over anyway on the first day and snapped where the ring was. I was so disappointed! |
