Planting depth for Bartzella and Yellow Crown

Greetings:

I purchased two Bartzella and Yellow Crown Itoh peonies yesterday at the garden centre.

I was wondering at what depth I should plant them, as a tree peony or herbaceous peony depth?

Thanks in advance for any comments//suggestions,

Kind regards,
Betty

Betty,

Intersectional peonies are not as fussy as herbaceous peonies about debth but I try to plant them the same debth as herbaceous peonies. Keep the buds within the top 2 inches of the surface of the ground.

Certainly don't plant them as deep as tree peonies.
