Still Ok to Plant?

I was at one of my favorite local nurseries this past weekend and they had peonies in 1 gallon pots for really decent price. I almost bought one but I wanted to ask first...

is it still ok to plant them at this point in the season?

I'm assuming so if I'm finding them at the nursery. Just thought I'd double check.

Usually the general rule is that potted plants can be planted at any time during the growing season. Just make sure to water it well once a week this growing season to help it adjust.
