Molly The Witch 7-8" Under

Hello- I planted Molly 3 yrs ago & she is growing beautifully inside of a 7-8" depression. I think this is due to my lack of knowledge concerning patting the soil when planting. However, this is estheticially unpleasant. Can I raise her up to ground level by up rooting & back filling the hole - patting as I go? Please advise. Thanking you in advance.
