Hello, all. I have a nice vigorous Bartzella Itoh, now in it second season with me (planted early Spring last year). The clump is a fair size, say, three feet by two feet. But no buds. An Itoh added the same time, Kopper Kettle, has many.

I don't think I planted it deeply, but I have also read conflicting accounts of whether this matters to the intersectional hybrids anyway.

Has anyone got any tips or suggestions? I will likely leave it for another year and if still no action, I will move it somewhere else.
