Hi everyone -- Wow, it's been so long since I've posted here...I've been mostly observing the growth of my herbaceous peonies, but I do have some concerns about one of my tree peonies. It's 'Guardian of the Monastery', a pink lavendar type. I planted it last fall with great hopes of some nice blooms but much to my dismay it has a mere two buds on it. Actually one of the buds is almost into full bloom at this point. Is it in too much shade? Should I expect more as the years progress or will this be it? For the 60.00 bucks I paid, I expected a better show. My Feng Dan and several others have 30 and 40 blooms on them. Some comments and advice would be sincerely appreciated.
