Howdy All!

I just went to a local nursery to buy peonies. Half the plants had spots on the leaves. The biggest of the spots were less than a 1/4 inch in diameter. I went to the owner and asked her about them and she was very honest and said it was a disease and to stay away from the ones with spots. There were a few that did not have spots, but I am wondering if they might be infected with no signs yet. She told me that they mowed a whole field down to the ground because they cannot find anything that takes care of the problem. She also told me that all the plants will develope the spots in the fall.

Is this common to Peonies or are they just infected. Also, is it true that all Peonies get spots in the fall?
