My tree peony had 5 buds this spring (Boston, MA area). Three are blooming, but two are on growth that has wilted. I understand that this could be caused by grey mold or peony wilt (Botrytis paeoniae), but there is no outward evidence of mold. Has anyone else had this problem? I am afraid that it could damage or kill the plant but am just hoping it stops with the present damage. Thanks for your comments.
