Short Peonies

mitanoff

Hello all:

I have been trying to get a short peony with P. tenuifolia in it's history as I like the dissected foliage.

I have found a couple local sources but the price is a little too steep for me.

I ended up with

1. Early Scout

2. Fox trot

From my googling, I had thought that Early Scout had dissected foliage but the peony i have, although the foliage is more branched than a regular peony, isn't as fine as the pictures I see online. I will try to post a pic later. Comments?

As for FoxTrot, I haven't been able to find ONE picture of the darned thing! Can anyone help me out here? This one doesn't have the fine foliage either but I was told it was short (less than 20"). The foliage is a purpley green.

Any comments and/or pictures would be much appreciated.

Thanks!
