RE: ID this peony

hi,
would you do things please: 1. mail a picture when it is in full bloom and 2nd tell us the day when it blooms so i can decide if it is early/middle/late? btw: in case i cannot name a plant i took to taking the most exotic name i like. around here they took to not naming species anymore .. you buy peony .. pink and that is it.

regards, martina

hi martina, the picture was taken june 8 two years ago. i only ever took one picture of it. it looked like it was in full bloom, but you're saying it is not? well, i will post another picture and give bloom dates when i get a bloom on this plant this year. thanks for the post. i'd like to note that i got it bare root from a big box store quite a few years ago, so most likely to be a common rather than rare specimen..

ok finally got some decent (i think) set of pictures for an ID! here they are:

These pictures were taken June 1 when they were in full bloom. It is now June 4th and with the rain storm we just had, half of the petals have fallen off.
