I was offered three of these last summer..... Free for the digging. They had long since bloomed, looked pretty ratty, and I had no idea what they were. I planted them having my doubts they would even survive. A friend ID them as peonies, which I was very pleased to hear :)

I've read that it can take up to a few years for them to rebound. Luckily that is not the case with these. They are all doing well with lots of blooms.

It may be impossible to ID, i'm just soooo curious as to what color they will be. Can any of you experts tell?

Surprises are nice but I'm dying to know lol!!
