Peony growing for dummies?

I've got a peony growing in my fence. I don't know how it got there - maybe it was planted there before there was a fence? Or do they drop seed? It's just like my neighbor's peony.

Anyway, I want to dig it up and move it. The spot I have in mind gets 4 hours direct sun. Is that enough sun for a peony to grow and bloom decently? I realize that's not the optimal amount of sun, but since I already have lots of flower beds, I'm limited on where I can put it. Thanks,

Deanna

Wait until fall to move it. The more sun the better!

If the sun is afternoon sun, it will probably be enough for the peony to bloom.
