Transplanting Now...

Hi

I had no choice but to dig up the peony today.

I took two that my friend offered. Tiny little things I put them in a sunny well drained location in the front of my house.

Keeping my fingers crossed they will be alright.

Any suggestions to help them survive the untimely transplant is appreciated.

I'd suggest providing them with some shade so they don't fry in the heat of the day....something like placing an outdoor chair over them or constructing a small canopy.

Also, water them regularly...though I couldn't tell you what's too much or too little.
