| HI there. Novice question: is the number of pink stubs that are surfacing equal to the number of eyes a peony has? I ask because I'm looking at a few peonies I bought 2 years ago that had 2-3 eyes only, but now I see at least 10 shoots coming up, and I'm wondering if that means they are currently 10 eye peonies.
thanks!! |

| Yes, you have 10 eye peonies :-) |

| While every eye will become a shoot(or stem)every shoot will not have a flower on top. You may get a handsome plant but no flower. Just be patient and you will be rewarded with flowers when the plant is ready. Al |
