Sun Bleached Peony Leaves?

mscolere

I bought some peony roots from Costco back in March. I planted the in 1 gallon pots and have had them growing inside for the past few months. I finally put them outside last week. We still have a risk of frost in my area but they are in a pretty well protected area and have not been damaged by the light frost (at least from what I can tell). However I did notice that the leaves (tops layers of leaves more so) appear to be bleached by the sun. They still feel healthy but have a beige, whitish colour now on some of the leaves. I originally though it was dried dirt. Will this hurt the plant in anyway? Any suggestions?
