Peonies That Smell Like Roses

A dear friend of mine has been searching for named varieties of old peonies that smell like roses. He remembers them from his childhood in Eastern PA. He is very ill and I'd love to surprise him with some. Can anyone help me with either names or descriptions? Thanks in advance.

Ruth, since there are literally hundreds of Peony cultivars, you might have better luck doing a Google search for "heirloom, fragrant Peonies." Hidden Springs Flower Farm has a lovely collection of heirloom Peonies although I can't vouch for them. I just like to go there to look at the pretty pictures. :-)
