| My old red peony now has red stems and leaves and very tiny, tight buds. Up until last year it was doing very well. It would have green leaves and stems and many large red blossoms. What could be wrong? I thought peonies lasted forever. Could it be that it should be divided or does it have some disease? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you |

| Most peonies have red stems and leaves when they come up. What time last year did it bloom. It seems a little early for the buds to be swollen. |
