What Peony Am I?

Hello! I bought this bare-root at Wal-Mart 2 years ago. (3rd summer) It is finally blooming for the first time. I bought it as a Sorbet. It sure dosen't look like Sorbet. Whatever it is, it is very pretty. I know sometimes that flowers loook different before a bush is mature, but these look very different. (Now I need a Sorbet) I didn't realize that peonies took so long to bloom from bare-root! Thanks for your help.

It looks a lot like my Scarlet O'Hara - if it is tall, with strong stems, and actually glows!

Fiddle-dee-dee, I googled Scarlet O'Hara, and mine is very similar although not red. Mine is more pink. I was wondering if mine could be the infamous Blue Lagoon? I bought it at Wal-mart at about that time. I just read all the posts here about it. What a bizarre deal that was. I bought a 'blue' hollyhock from wal-mart last year that turned out pink. I should have known better. Duh!

I bought Dancing Butterflies at Walmart a couple years ago in a 2-root pack, and it looks like yours.

It looks a lot (to me) like 'Paula Fay', which is a true fluorescent pink, short, and early. I don't know, however, if Wal-Mart carries 'Paula Fay'. Look it up and see what you think!

I have the same peony that I purchased about 2 yrs ago. I thought that I was purchasing a "frilly" variety but ended up with this one.

It bloomed 1 1/2 weeks early than my other "frilly & scented" ones. It's shorter than the other too. Mine seems to be a fuschia color and has no pretty scent.
