tree peony question

I have what is suppose to be 'high noon' and I thought it was a tree peony, but it dies back to the ground each year. It had about a dozen flowers this spring after coming back. Is there an intersectional (?) that looks like Highnoon?

RE: tree peony question

Gerry,

I am fairly new to peonies, so was curious about 'intersectional' ones. Now I know a bit after searching.

Below is a link to a site that shows a yellow intersectional peony, Garden Treasure. ($160...YIKES!)

Maybe that is what you have? The pics are similar to my untrained eye.
