It has much more blooms in full sun, less blooms in shade. It is difficult to answer how much shade it can handle.

Darn, i was hoping for a show stopper for all the world to see. Get the folks in this area to buy something besides sarah bernhardt. To the back yard it goes for a private show....lol

There are probably other variables that were not greatly controlled, but the difference is so large it is probably negligible.
