What is it?

I have a peony that I bought a year ago at one of the big box stores- That was my first mistake- They had a name on it that is the name of a clematis. The plant has a stem that is slightly red and the center veins of the leaves are also red. Does anyone have any idea what variety is could be? It has not bloomed so I have no ideas to contribute.

Irisfan,

do you have a picture?

I am guessing it IS a peony, but just that it has decided to not bloom for you this year.

Lavendar Lady sound familiar? That was available last year at Walmart & I believe when I was looking it up I found a clematis by that name.
