This is my favorite white. 'Feng dan bai' Mine has formed a loose tree which allows for inter-planting. Looks like someone else liked it because it's companion has gone missing. I have planted "Kamakazie" sp but have never been able to have it live more than the first year. It is supposed to be one of the tallest tp's.

FYI Feng dan bai does have fragarence.

Agree with the previous poster about Feng Dan. I have Feng Dan and it's as reliable as they come and absolutely gorgeous. It has papery pure white blossoms with a yellow center. It's scent permeates the air near my front door as folks come in. What a welcome!

Oh, and the budding and flowering is prolific - I had probably 30 flowers on a 2 year old specimen - all of them the size of luncheon plates.
