Will tree peonies grow continuously if no winter?

What happens if a peony seedling is grown continuously, such as indoors under fluorescent light, continuously, 24/7, with no winter period? I am wondering if anyone has tried it. What about on a 16/8 light dark cycle compared to a 20/4 light dark cycle, and continuously for a full year (or two) - will it manage to do 4 years' growth in 2 years? because I want to see blooms faster! - i now have 50 seedlings that germinated in February, were stratified, now have sprouted, grown on to the one stem/ 2 leaf stage, and succesfully transplanted into their own pots - paul m
