New Member & Peony Photos

Hello everyone!

I'm a brand new member here but have been using GardenWeb as a resource as I tackle the landscaping in our new home. It's a great site and I'm glad to be here. I didn't see a place for new members to introduce themselves, so if there is will you please direct me?

Our landscaping needs a lot of work but there are a few gems that I am very happy to inherit. Of these are the peonies we have. I have no idea which varieties/cultivars these are so if you do, please let me know.

And this one is my favorite. I think I prefer the simple flowers. Also, since they aren't as heavy, it doesn't end up face down like the rest.

Oh my that last one is gorgeous! Not that the others are not, but I have never seen a Peony like this. Thanks for posting pics.

Thanks Acadiafun! I was quite surprised too when it bloomed. I haven't seen one like this before either.

All beautiful! GreenHearted, my first thought was Seashell for the last one, but I haven't looked up stats for that plant to compare with yours.

'Seashell' does look similar. The petals on mine are more narrow and the color of newer blossoms is more purple when it first opens. But I'm not very familar with peonies so these types of variations might be normal.
