Peony near a septic line

Hello - this is my first post here and hopefully I have a unique question - I have a western exposure front of the house and I would like to plant a peony that was given to me in my front landscape bed - my only concern the corner in which I desire to plant it, is where my septic pipe comes out from my house and into the septic system (which is considerably far away from the house). The pipe is only buried about 6" below the surface where it exits the house - I understand peony roots grow deep and would like some advice on whether or not this location would work or be too risky regarding potential damage to the pipe - Thank you in advance for any advice!
