We just moved into a house, and there are a few peony plants with several blooms. They started as buds and then all flowered and looked beautiful. shortly thereafter, the flowers browned, wilted, and died. Is this normal?? i've never had peonies before (nor any flowers actually). also, i don't know if this matters, but the weight of the flowers made the stems bend so that the flowers were practically hitting the ground. there were some ants on the plants, but i read that they don't hurt the peonies. any insight will be much appreciated! thanks in advance!
