When will bareroot Sarah Bernhardt bloom?

Hello all,

I just planted some bareroot Sarah Bernhardt. This is my first time planting perenials, so please excuse the seemingly dump question. I was wondering when I should expect these peonies to bloom? And how should I care for it int he meantime? Thanks.

Mark

A nice bunch of blooms will come in about 3 years, be patient. Depending on where you are, neglect the peonies and they will do nicely. In fact in Illinois, they should perform very well. Sarah Bernhardt is tried and true!
