It was a small plant from a nearby abandoned homestead. It transplanted very well, plenty of moisture at that time so it took well. I found a new sprout today, not at the place wehre the plant got cut off, but in the vicinity.

A whole plant transplanted should have plenty of reserve to carry it through one or two mowings. Al

That would be great if it survived. DH would appreciate it too!
