Beauties! The last one really catches my eye.

I like the first one. It is famously tall. Unfortunately it was early spring when the picture was taken. There were only buds on the tree. Last year, they had a picture with large white flowers on top.

Snasxs, I have not seen the Chinese Tree Peony named Ming Shi Xie. Do you know what the name means. I have a database of over 700 Chinese Tree Peony names but that name is not in it. I have seen photos of suffructicosas that appeared to be 12 feet tall. Those were growing in woodland setting growing in the wild. I think Feng Dan Bai gets a good bit taller than the one in the photo.

Hi peonyman, Can you post images? I would love to see your tall TPs. I don’t have enough time to find Ming Shi Xie (Ming- clear, Shi-stone, Xie-waterfall). I locate pictures of some other cultivars. Maybe you can tell us what these Chinese TPs are: 1. red? 1. 2. blue?
|
Ok, Ming Shi Xie is a Japanese TP cultivar.
