They go crazy on our roses to but completely ignore the peonies but my wife just reminded me that the peonies bloom before the J Beetles come out of the ground in NJ... don't know about were you might be? We have had great success now with the hanging bag w/fragance to catch the J.Beetles -pricy but they work! We must have caught 100/bag this year. hope this helps...
