I know it is the wrong time of year but I bought two potted peonies on sale and need to do someting with them. I have a spot picked out that is shady now but sunny in the spring. I just need any tips on planting ...I've got got bonemeal, compost, peatmoss. I know that I have planted others too deep before and never saw them again. I read that for potted they should be even with the soil line..yes? Anyway I am in zone 5 Des Moines, Iowa...any fellow Iowans...help...thanks!
