Hi, I have a peony that has been in the same place for years according to my neighbors. For the last 3-5 years it has been mowed off every year. I moved in and built 4 flowerbeds with the peony in one (it is in the exact same place it has been for years). It grew to about 1-1/2 feet and now even though all the neighbor's peonies are blooming mine doesn't have any buds and the leaves are starting to look bad. Any ideas of what I can do to revive this plant? Also, a neighbor said it would be 7 years before a peony would bloom after it is moved. Is this true? Thanks.
