I know I've seen that name in one of the peony forums, local lady raved about their roots. I don't know if it does any good at all to get bigger, mature roots. Most places say 3-5 eye divisions are the best to plant but is that because that's what they sell? I did get several larger roots from Fina last fall, most had over 10 eyes and were enormous. They didn't bloom any better than the 3-5 eye divisions I planted at the same time. That's only 1st spring after fall planting though, we'll see if it's any different next spring!

Wow, 10 eyes? Most places I've looked at online say 3-5 eyes. I'm waiting until the local nursery is selling their bare roots that they're currently digging up right now before I order any more online. I'm very excited to start my planting and love all of the peonies!

I did order last fall and was very disappointed. The ad said 3-5 eyes, 3 roots per pack. I did get 3 roots, but 2 had one (1!) eye each and the third had 4 eyes. The roots also were very small and the eyes were tiny. I complained and they were quick to send a replacement that was no better then the original order.
I did order peonies from Adelman's - great quality (large roots with many eyes), but I also recently purchased a few varieties from ebay seller - very good price and large multi-eyed roots.
