| My 'Abalone Pearl' normally has beautiful foliage all season, but botrytis arrived very early in the garden this year and AP has not a single unblighted leaf. It's so unsightly that I've been wanting to cut it down for weeks. Can I cut it now? |

| I would cut it down and remove all plant material to the garbage. I would then spray the area with a fungicide, I use a Bordeaux mix for its lasting quality. In our climate fungus diseases have no trouble living over the winter in the ground. Al |
