transplanting peonies

I have some peonies that I need to move. They have gotten to big for where they are, and need a bigger home. When is the best time to do this, and how do I go about it.

Rayven, Now through October is the best time to be dividing and moving peony. I've attached a url to the Heartland Peony Societies web page FAQ. That will answer your most of your questions. It's a fun site to wander around in. :)
