That seems to happen to me all the time. Asking about something makes it happen.

So what peonies did you order? Did the quality and size of the roots meet your expectations?

Gosh, I don't have my list handy but for my first order I stayed small and only chose 3 to check out the company personally. Any peony I order will be fragrant, so all three and any future ones will have that quality. I also looked for dark, mid and light pink tones that would look good together in a vase and finally selected from older historic peonies (since I'm planting at a 1780's-1810 farmhouse).

Gee, if I go post over on the Alliums forum wondering about when Moose Tubers ships from ME, will my potato onions suddenly be delivered??? :-D

I doubt that the potatoes or onions will be delivered until February or March of next year. Most of those are planted early spring. Now if you ordered garlic you would be receiving it shortly as it is a fall sown plant.

Most of Don's roots are sent fair sized. If small you should be aware that not all peonies produce roots of the same size. Surprisingly some of the smaller plants have the largest diameter roots.
