No. Growers are dividing plants now. If you decide to divide when you move and have more than you want to plant look in your area newspaper to see if there is a plant swap in your area or contact one of the local clubs to see if they could use the extras. Some area Habitat for Humanity will accept plants if they have a project where the new homeowner has asked for plants.

Thanks, but I plan to keep the plants. They just need to go in a different location.

The three peony plants have been moved to their new location as of yesterday, Sept. 11. Two of the three plants have something which I assume is powdery mildew. Is there anything I can do about it, or are they doomed? Thanks for your input.

Just cut off the leaves/stalks and clean up around them really well and let them put their energy in to root production.
