Too late to transplant in zone 5?

I just read on one of the threads that you can plant peonies as long as the dirt is workable...does that mean then that it is not too late to move already established ones in my garden?

Nope. This is the best time to transplant them. They can be transplanted in the Spring but Fall is best. Mulch well after transplanting and keep them moist, not wet, till the ground freezes.
