Will my Peonies come back?

| We moved in May and as a gift I got a Red Peonie plant.
I planted it and it took well, however we had an overzealous weedwacker/landscaper. He weedwacked the plant!!!! GRRRR!!! Is there any chance this plant will come back next year??? :-( |

| Yes if your plant was established when "whacked" it should return next spring. Protect it through the winter as though it had not been attacked. Al |
