They should be just fine until tomorrow. You wouldn't want to leave them sitting out in the sun, but since it's sprinkling, guess that's not a problem :) I'd hate to tell ya the horror stories I've seen peony roots subjected to. They're a lot tougher than most people give them credit for.

I agree they should be fine. I've brought peony divisions up from Pennsylavia to Massachusetts, having to wait almost a week in a plastic bag (in the shade) before I could plant...no problems! So relax.

Thanks for putting my mind at ease! I actually also go the flu yesterday...ick...and so that was one less thing on my plate to stress out over. :)
