Tibetan Tree Peony Seeds available for trade

My Tibetan Tree Peony produced quite a few seed pods this year and I have an abundance of fresh seeds. Does anyone have other kinds of peony seeds they would like to trade for mine? If you are interested, go to "My Page" and send me an email. Thanks.

RE: Tibetan Tree Peony Seeds available for trade

I traded for these seeds, and they are huge seeds. None of them have germinated yet, but it has been a relatively warm fall, and only the first of the regular tree peony seeds are starting to show signs of sprouting their root. I think for a year like this one, root sprouting will more likely occur in December when the temperature gets down closer to the 40-50F vernalization zone.

Most of them were already sprouting by this time 1 year ago, but they seem to require the cooler temperatures to break dormancy, and then need an entire winter to sprout their first leaves. Tibetian tree peony seeds are much larger than regular ones as it is more like a giant form which produces an abundance of relatively small yellow flowers.
