I knew about this website but I guess I never got around to exploring it. For those of you that don't know Hidden Springs is owned by Harvey Buchite. Harvey is the current president of the American Peony Society. Just browsing through the herbaceous peony list it appears he has several cultivars that are old heirloom varieties. Many of them predate the beginning of the American Peony Society so they don't have registration dates. Many of the great older cultivars have been lost.
