new tree peony

Nancy

I just got home from a local nursery. I got a tree peony "Hanakisoi" on sale for $7. Now, what do I do with it. It is in about a 3 gal pot, still has foliage & looks pretty good. They had it outside at the nursery, so not like I'm buying it from a greenhouse. I don't have tree peonys in my yard, so I'm not really familiar with what it needs. The tag says it will get up to 5' tall, & to plant in part shade. I know normal peony should be planted very shallow, but since this is potted, should I just plant at the same depth as it is in the pot? Can I possibly expect bloom in the spring?
