It's going to be a tall order.

Paeonia delavayi is a peony species often raised from seed so getting the exact color will be challenging unless you can purchase a potted plant in flower or select one from a grower to transplant in the fall.

You pretty much have to take a chance and try a seedling. You might try and ask the grower what the flower color of the parent is so you can sorta come close to your desired "dusty tangerine".

Too disappointing to wait forever for the wrong colour.

I think that you are looking for the Paeonia Delavay sp. Ludlowii that is a wonderfull plant with "dusty tangerine" color flowers.
