This is a picture of my first Trinidad Scorpion Pepper from a local garden supply store. The owner claims he got the plants in Trinidad and now raises them to sell from his store. I've never had a hotter pepper!

RE: Trinidad Scorpion Pepper

Steve, may I inquire if they taste anything like habaneros? I have found that habaneros have a unique taste which I am not fond of. I've been eating HOT peppers since I was about 4yrs old. Love them, the hotter the better. but somehow habaneros I just don't care for the taste. The heat is great, it's just that 'taste' they have. Would you consider trading seeds of your trinidad pepper? I have a trade list on the seed exchange forum. Pls let me know. Thank you.
Yaya

RE: Trinidad Scorpion Pepper

We have been growing this pepper and managed to buy it in New South Wales (Bunnings) We also managed to get some from a local nursery.
It is labelled Habanero and it is exactly like the one in Trinidad where I lived for years labelled Scotch Bonnett. They are available in London under the same name.
Exactly the same shape and taste.
The name Scorpian Pepper is new to me.
