| Can anyone identify this pepper for me? All that I know is that it came from a "worlds hottest pepper" collection from ecoeeeds I believe. They just turned black in the last couple of weeks. Is this their "ripe" color? |

| Hard to tell from the fuzzy photo but it almost looks like a mexican negro or commonly called pasilla. This chili is not very pungent and is dried for spice. They turn black and usually start to curl on the bottom. |
