It may not have been an accident. I've always received extra seeds from various vendors, though they're usually different varieties than what I ordered.

Your seeds may have been last year's too so they might have wanted to get rid of them while making sure you got enough viable seed? Just a thought.

I got them from Refined Fire Chiles, which got high praise from at least a couple posters on this forum.

So I imagine the seeds should be really good. In any event, if some of my first seedlings don't take, I'll have plenty more seeds to mess with. I live in an area of the country with a long warm/hot season and short winters, so if I start some later on the calender, that will be fine. I don't have to have every plant ready to harvest in July.
