Lets see if you get a conjoined triplet. Maybe even save those seeds if it comes out super weird.

For experimental sake.
Take a small paint brush and see if you get a Multi pod set from one bud by helping it get pollinated.
I've had some twin pods from I bud but go for the gusto,see if you can get more.
If nothing else,go for the record of most pods per bud on a single stem. :)

The flower came off today. There are possible 6 pods on that stem. We'll see if they all stay on.

Thus type of mega bud or fusing happens a lot on tomatoes, usually early in the season when temperatures are on the low side. But I have not seen it on peppers. It would be interesting to see what will happen.

I wouldn't bother with that unless all of the pods did it. A single physical deformity doesn't mean anything.

Now, if all of them, or even a large percentage of them did that, then you might want to save some seeds (from multiple different pods), but I think thats pretty unlikely.

Fusing is some kind of disorder, like Siamese twins, trplets. IOW it is a "somthing gone wrong" thing. JMO
