curious how you like your conversion lamp. was thinking about one for my 1000 hps to metal halide but dont know if the lumine drop is worth it

Kypepperman, all you need is a digital ballast, then you can use both MH and HPS. I am running a 400W MH/HPS with a digital ballast.

Some of the nicer ones even can be adjusted, say you bought a 1000W, they have a switch to dim to 600W, 400W etc

im using a 400w hps with the mh conversion globe great as it has more of the blue in it for faster growing but im think i might have to go buy a hps globe which has more red when im ready to start setting fruit..

but i havnt really found any problems at all not having as many lumens as a hps globe but that could be caus im only using a 400w set up
