This is my first time growing peppers from seed. My first attempt ended up being a complete failure, but things are going much more smoothly now and some of my seedlings are starting to show the nubs of their first true leaves. They're in a 5-1-1 with no added fertilizers. Should I start feeding them now, or wait until more leaves have developed?

i wait until the second set of true leaves and even then use a very diluted mix of a water soluble fertilizer.

A good rule of thumb is to start your nutrients at 1/4 of the recommended dosage, then slowly increase to recommended dosage. I usually do 4L for each dosage. So 4L at 1/4 then 4L at 1/2 etc. You may need less water depending on your nutrients.
